Flicker/Non Flicker
If your customers are very concerned about the price, We also can make Flicker type for you, if so, the price will be cheaper than Non-flicker ( About the Flicker, Flicker means when you use the camera to see the lights, there is wave. non-flicker means when you use the camera to see the lights, there is no wave. this depends on the customer's request, normally it is flicker. only like the hospital, they will request the non-flicker.
but if you don't know flicker or no flicker, then let's recommend no flicker first, since the product with no flicker will be more expensive)
PF
PF=Power factor(Power factor is the actual consumption of power and power supply capacity ratio. Therefore, the higher the power factor, the more power in the transmission process can reduce unnecessary loss and improve the utilization of electricity)
Efficiency
During the process of energy conversion and transmission, various losses are inevitably generated. Therefore, the output power is always less than the input power. For example, when the power supply is working, various components and circuits have resistance, and they will generate heat after power is turned on. This part of heat is energy loss, so the output power is always less than the input power. To measure the degree of energy loss during the conversion and transmission process, we define the ratio of the output power of the electrical equipment to the input power as the efficiency of the electrical equipment.
High-efficiency power supplies can save energy. In addition, high-efficiency power supplies themselves have low heat generation and small temperature rise, which can extend the service life.
What is ripple?
Ripple refers to the AC component other than the DC output voltage component. Usually, the frequency of the AC component is generally greater than 100 Hz, or even tens of MHz, and the ripple cannot be eliminated.
Does the ripple affect the life of the LED?
The impact on the life of the LED depends on the size of the ripple and the number of each branch. If the number of LEDs on the branch remains unchanged, the larger the ripple, the shorter the life of the LED; if the ripple remains unchanged, the more LEDs on the branch, the smaller the impact of the ripple on the LED and the longer the life.
Low temperature will affect the startup time of the power supply and prevent it from working properly.
The lower the temperature, the more obvious the impact on the power supply. Whether the power supply can adapt to low-temperature working and environment depends on the rationality of the design of the internal circuit of the power supply and the reasonable matching of the parameters between the components. The more rational the circuit design of a power supply and the rational matching of the component parameters, the better its ability to adapt to lower temperatures.
What does IPXX stand for? What is the difference between IP66, IP67 and IP68?
1. IPXX
Indicates the degree of protection of the housing against harmful effects on the equipment due to water ingress
Protection against dust (including solids) ingress
International protection level
2. IP66
Indicates that strong water spraying in all directions of the housing has no harmful effects
Indicates that no dust enters
3. IP67
Indicates that the amount of water entering the housing after immersion in water at a specified pressure for a specified time does not reach a harmful level
Indicates that no dust enters
4. IP68
Indicates that the amount of water entering the housing after continuous diving under conditions agreed upon by the manufacturer and the user (should be more severe than number 7) does not reach a harmful level
Indicates that no dust enters
Installation and use environment of switching LED power supply
A. It is strictly forbidden to install the power supply in a high-temperature environment.
B. Heat dissipation through three ways of heat transfer as much as possible:
· When installing, create an open space exposed to the atmosphere as much as possible to allow air to flow. If it is to be installed in a box, the box should be as large as possible, and symmetrical large holes should be opened up and down, front and back, left and right to allow air to flow easily, strengthen convection and achieve the purpose of heat dissipation.
· When installing the LED power supply, install the power supply on a metal plate with a larger area as much as possible, so that part of the heat of the power supply can be transferred to the metal plate through heat conduction, and then the heat is dissipated with the help of the metal plate, to achieve the purpose of lowering the temperature of the power supply. It should be avoided to install the power supply directly on materials such as sponge and wood that are not conducive to heat conduction
To ensure the long life of the power supply, the operating temperature of the power supply should be reduced as much as possible. In specific use, due to environmental conditions, when it cannot be installed in an ideal state, according to the above-mentioned heat transfer mechanism, create three ways that are conducive to heat transfer as much as possible to dissipate heat, so that the working temperature of the power supply is normal, which is beneficial to the life of the power supply, otherwise it will shorten the life of the power supply or even damage the power supply.
